One morning my wife and I heard Aaron Copland's "Fanfare for the Common Man" on streaming classical KDFC. I was reading the news about some new outrage from the Orange Man and said to her, "Someone should write a song called Fanfare for the Orange Man as a way of venting our rage". Here is that song.
In his 1942 masterpiece, Aaron Copland honored all the unsung heroes in America who were working and fighting to end fascism and tyranny. Orange Man is a narcissistic egomaniac who claims to be working for the forgotten people, but he has no idea what life is like for us. He has been a spoiled brat his entire life. All Orange Man cares about is money, power and himself. Orange Man uses not being politically correct (PC) as license to make racist, bigoted and sexist statements. He has shown contempt for social and political norms. We the people have the power to resist Orange Man. Take action, do something. Speak out. Write your representatives. Vote.
