Ted Mortensen was a close friend. I learned a lot about being yourself from Ted. Ted never cared what other people thought of his looks, clothes, cars, music, or anything. He was an independent soul and he had a major influence on me. Ted was really funny and a great drummer and his harmonies were always spot on. We played in a band together. Ted loved to take friends on what he called mystery trips. He would show up on a Saturday night and you never knew where you would end up. It always was fun and exciting. Ted died young from a brain tumor. This one is for you Ted.
