When you drive towards Verdi from Reno on West Fourth Street there is a large grey wall behind a highway barrier on the right side. A man has been living there for sometime. We don't know his name so we call him the Wall Man. He is there in all kinds of weather, throughout the year. On hot summer days I have seen him laying in the shade under a tree up by the 7-Eleven gas station up the hill near Home Depot. When I drive by I wonder what his story is, and how he came to be the Wall Man.
