These are dangerous times for freedom and democracy.  Freedoms are being taken away from us, but in this modern connected era, the dictators cannot hide their crimes.  We all can see what is happening in Iran, Russia, North Korea, and elsewhere.  There is a great deal of unrest.  Many of us think there must be a better way for Earth to exist than being run by dictators, autocrats, fascists, corporations, and greed.  We live in a paradise, but only if we all work together for a better earth.  Work for freedom and equality for all peoples:  freedom from invaders, fascists, dictators, drug lords, racists, bigots, sexists and truth deniers.  I believe democracy has to be a major element of moving civilization forward to a new era.  That means we all need to strongly support democracies and freedom around the world.  People simply will not tolerate living under dictators any longer, whether they be politicians, military or religious leaders.  Therefore, NOW is the time to support Ukraine.  By supporting Ukraine we are supporting democracy, and ourselves.

 

To be clear, we do not seek the destruction of Russia, or harm to the Russian people.  Russian culture and it's people are great and loved by many in the west.  We seek three things: (1) the end of Putin's dictatorship; (2) the end of the Russian invasion into Ukraine; and (3) independence and freedom for all of Ukraine.  Europe has had enough ruthless dictators.  The Russian people want freedom and an end to tsars and dictators.   

 

I am one person trying to help Ukraine with my words and music.  If we all do something, we can make a difference.  I have lived in, or visited, all the major world democracies.  I have also visited a few dictatorships.  My conclusion is that the parties and music are way better in the democracies.  My love to Ukraine. Our freedom, comradeship, and music are more powerful than all of Putin's missiles.
